I have been trying to get Hobby-Net to work correctly with Synchronet 3.21e and I keep running into an issue. BINKPOLL seems to work fine but BINKOUT keeps appending “fidonet” to the DNS address and does not use the DNS name I have configured "phoenix.bnbbbs.net" in the BinkP/settings/host parameter or append @hobbynet.

What could I be doing wrong? I have FidoNet and DOVE-Net working perfectly but struggling with HobbyNet for some reason.

Take a look at your ctrl/sbbsecho.ini file. My guess is you have an @domain specified for the other othernets, but not HobbyNet.
