Your downloadable software and internet services will become EVEN more expensive when sales tax gets added. So if you pay for GMAIL 100gb plan
it will be 19.99 plus sales tax, your digital video games will also be
    sales tax charged too.

I also stopped paying for Office 365 when they raised the cost to $150.
There are ways to stop feeding the state and big tech.

I just use Libreoffice, works great for me.

Yeah. Move out of that taxation paradise. Like hundreds of thousands
    already have...

Some of us are tied to family, but when I get some extra coin I do aspire to move to Georgia or South Carolina.

I am likely to do a very expensive Nintendo Switch Store game run before the tax increase.

So.... is it that you're "tied to family" really? Sounds more like it's
a "coin" issue from what you're saying.

I have family (in-laws) there too, but doesn't mean I'm gonna live there because of that.

Do the tax increases there ever really stop? Did you mean to say
"before the *NEXT* tax increase"? ;-)

Family ties suck big time. It is a real obstacle in many cases.

For example, I cannot leave my current province easily because there is nobody else to take care of my horses*. If I were to leave I would have to find suitable fields and rebuild my network of hay suppliers, then arrange for transport. It is doable but not trivial.

Breaking family links sounds easy but may come back at you later to bit you in your ass. My grandpa left for tobacco in order to live in the other end of Spain, now he is dying and arranging for family to take care of him is getting very complex.
