Master system has better hardware. But NES had more games.

I have no strong opinions about this one. NES had a good library of games but Sega machines have grown on me as of late.

I think SNES vs. Sega Genesis is interesting in that I've heard the Sega Genesis' only advantage was CPU clock speed; otherwise, the SNES had better specs with everything else.

SNES was fine but modern Sega Genesis homebrews as of late prove the Sega Genesis was a total beast.

For example, the Secret of Mana games for SNES are actual classics, for a reason, but things such as The Secret of the Four Winds are pretty much the same thing on the Genesis, but they look better and you can aim your ranged weapons properly. In fact high level Secret of the Four Winds characters aim and shoot as if they were human machineguns if you manage them well.

Many modern homebrews are cheaters and include a lot of extra logic in the game cartridge, though.
